Java Chicken Plush

Java chickens date back to the 1830s and are the second oldest breed of chicken developed in America. Used primarily for egg production, Javas are identifiable by their distinct body shape, dark eye color, and friendly demeanor. Today, Javas are considered rare and endangered, and we are proud to have them on site at Old World Wisconsin and to help preserve this heritage breed.
