      Elizabeth Albert-Peacock (Betsy) is a member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe. She is a graduate and retiree of University of Minnesota, Duluth, where she taught in the Education Department for 18 wonderful years. She is co-owner, with her husband, of Black Bears and Blueberries Publishing, a Native owned publisher. Betsy enjoys spending time with family, especially the grandkids, special friends, and chosen sisters. She loves living in the woods with the wildlife and flower gardens, and she enjoys being near the magnificent Lake Superior and all it has to offer. 

      Illustrator

      Anna Granholm loves to write short stories and draw them into books or comics that will make readers want to read it more than once, and to inspire others to write their own stories and to reach for the stars.
