      Jacob's Ladder, known all over the world, was a favorite toy of the children during the Colonial times. The mysterious movement of this puzzling toy continutes to amaze generations of American children. With illusions, tricks and animal imitations, it is a toy for your imagination! 

      The basic movement of the Jacob's Ladder toy is letting the toy hang straight down. Hold the top block on the edges, with the ribbon facing out. Tip the top brick forward, until it touches the next brick. Then, tip it back again; it will appear to cascade down once more.
