Wisconsin and the World Summer Camp

Take a trip around the world without leaving Wisconsin! Campers will explore the many cultures that make up our state.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, July 20.

Summer Camp Details

Monday - Friday | July 25 - 29 | 9 am - 3 pm *

* Extended Care available until 5 pm

Camps are designed for children entering grades 1-3.

About the Event

Enjoy a week of action-packed fun and learning through summer camps at the Wisconsin Historical Museum. These camps for students in grades 1-3 take curious campers on exciting daily adventures around the state’s capital. This week’s theme is Wisconsin and the World. Take a trip around the world without leaving Wisconsin! Campers will explore the many cultures that make up our state. We’ll meet new friends and discover sites in Madison that are windows to the world. Come join us on our journey as we share traditional stories, make instruments, play games, and more.


Cost:
 $250/camper
Optional Extended Care: $100/camper (for entire week)

Advanced Registration Required

Society members receive a 10% discount


Know before you go:
Drop off/pick-up will be at the Wisconsin Historical Museum. Campers should bring a bag lunch, bug spray, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Transportation during the camp day will be through the Madison bus system. Activities include long walks and stairs. Parents/guardians of campers with additional mobility needs are encouraged to contact the Wisconsin Historical Museum. Camps will take place in all weather conditions, but activities may be adjusted.

Price per camper, extended care for two additional hours after camp ends each day. Rate reflects entire length of the camp (five days).
