In the warm and inviting Caldwell Farmers' Club Hall, explore the historic and beautiful Norwegian knitting technique. Students should be adept and comfortable with casting on and knitting in the round. In the class, they will work with master knitter Gina Markiel to practice the positioning and stitches of this style, as well as make their own ear band to take home. The small class size allows for individual attention from the master knitter.

All students will receive wool yarn, circular needles, and a pattern to continue their work after class.

Register by 5:00 pm Monday, November 12th. Registration required.

Prerequisite: Must be at least 16 years of age. Students should be adept and comfortable with casting on and knitting in the round. 

This workshop will be held in our Caldwell Farmers' Club Hall which has modern heating. No formal lunch break provided, but there will be breaks for snacks. We suggest bringing a water bottle and any snacks you may require.

Please enter at the Main Entrance and park in the main lot. Staff will greet you at the entrance to direct you to the hall.

All apprenticeships require a minimum number of participants to occur. If your apprenticeship does not meet the minimum capacity, you will be contacted prior to the date and issued a refund. Registration non-refundable unless apprenticeship cancelled by Old World Wisconsin.
