Join the Wisconsin Historical Museum for free kid-centric programs that will help get them out of the house and active during the chilly Wisconsin winter.

As the temperatures drop, it’s easy for cabin fever to set in, especially for children. These hour-long Saturday programs feature engaging and interactive activities that keep kids moving and thinking.

January 22, Folklore Creatures: We will hunt for folklore creatures throughout the Museum, make fun crafts, and learn the history behind the hodag and other Wisconsin creatures.

January 29, Magic: Have you ever wanted to learn magic? On Jan. 29 we will become magicians with some inspiration from famous Wisconsin performers such as Harry Houdini.

February 5, Gamifying the Museum: Feb. 5 is for the gamers, with gaming stations on three museum floors.

February 12: More info on activities and crafts to come.
