Hodag [noun] \`ho, dag\

A fearsome, mischievous creature who hunts the North Woods of Wisconsin. Known to dine on fish, earth, and beef on a stick. "Discovered" by Eugene Shepard in Rhinelander, WI, 1893. This elaborate hoax ended only when the Smithsonian attempted to send a naturalist to verify the existence of the animal.

2. Cover the hole with poles, brush, and branches
